Boothstown Worsley

OUR PREMISES

27 Chaddock Lane, (opposite Boothstown Methodist Church) was chosen for its character, space and convenient location with private parking facilities, we have created a functional and tasteful funeral home to accommodate families and their loved ones. In addition to spacious reception, and two private arrangement rooms we also have three large chapels of rest.

Our Funeral Director and Proprietor

Emma Turnbull has served the local community as a Funeral Director offering help with your funeral plans for over 20 years many of which were spent at Cheethams Funeral Directors in Walkden, following her desire to continue giving local families the care and attention they deserve with their funeral plans, Emma felt the need to leave the employment of the Co-op owned Cheethams to enable her to open a family run funeral service.

It was almost 2 years in the planning and following a complete refurbishment of our premises on the Standfield Centre in Boothstown, Bridgewater Funeral Service opened in July 2014. Due to the need for more space and the changing environment on the Standfield Centre, Bridgewater Funeral Service acquired 27 Chaddock Lane Boothstown in early 2018 and almost immediately started renovating the Iconic 1920 building.

In May 2019, Bridgewater Funeral Service opened its doors to the public at 27 Chaddock Lane. Designed to offer a relaxed and comforting environment the new premises offer’s private carparking facilities, spacious areas with modern décor and two beautiful arrangement rooms overlooking a private landscaped garden.

Honesty and Integrity are words used by many Funeral Directors but unlike Emma few have consistently proved these qualities over 20 years of serving the families of our local area. Emma has guided thousands of local families with their funeral plans through what can be an extremely difficult and emotional time, and feels privileged to be entrusted with the care of so many loved ones.

Preparation Facilities

Your trust is important to us and we know it is essential that once your loved one enters into our care they remain in our care. To enable this we paid particular attention to installing suitable on site preparation facilities during our refurbishment.

Disabled Access

During our refurbishment we designed the layout with disabled access in mind ensuring all public areas are on one level and fitted with wide doorways in addition to suitable toilet facilities.
